We are honored to uplift New Elizabeth AME Church of Newark, Delaware, a congregation deeply rooted in legacy, liberation, and love. Since its founding in 1920, this church has persevered through multiple relocations and evolving visions — all grounded in the unshakable faith of its members and leaders.

Carrying the torch of Richard Allen’s mission to minister to the whole person, New Elizabeth remains steadfast in reaching, reclaiming, and transforming lives through the power of Jesus Christ. With a vision for holistic empowerment — spiritually, physically, mentally, socially, and economically — the church is now focused on building a new Empowerment Center to better serve the Bear/Newark community.
